Pack 681 is a division in the Rheingold district of the Transatlantic Group of the Boy Scouts of America.  Pack 681 was founded on June, 1981 and currently has membership of approximately 60 boys in Grades 1 to 5.  We are an active pack and meet on a regular basis.

Our sponsor chartering organization is the International School Basel, though we have children from many schools in the area, with about one third coming from the local Swiss school system.

The Cub Scouts is a wonderful way for boys and their families to get connected and have fun together while they explore Basel and the Swiss outdoors. The boys will learn as they develop citizenship, leadership and teamwork skills.

To get started with the Cubs you must register your self and your child on our website. This is a two step enrollment process:
  1. Parents need to register first. This is so we know how to contact you as a parent
  2. Once you have registered as a parent, You will be able to securely log into our website and enroll 1 or more children with our Pack

Please contact Pack 681 for more information on how to join.

Here are some of our Pack's annual activities:
  • Summer and Winter camping trips at the International Scout Centre
  • Family hikes in the Swiss Alps and countryside
  • Annual Blue & Gold dinner to celebrate the scouts' achievements
  • Pinewood Derby Race where the boys get to show off their imaginative car creations in a fun car race
  • Forest Competition
  • Basel Stadtlauf - A traditional city run to kick off holiday festivities in Basel
